Malawi – Here We Come!
In a few short weeks, a group of 10 Rotarians & Friends will be heading to Malawi. The group will be leaving on Monday, April 30th, 2012 for 3 weeks of “sweat equity”. The group will mainly be working with our partner in Malawi, Emmanuel International to help build a school classroom at a new school, Mbidi Jr. Primary School. Just to give you an idea, there are 600 students, 6 teachers, 4 brick classrooms, 2 classes under a tree outside and 2 classes in a grass thatched room. With our help, we will be able to provide much needed assistance and make the school a better learning environment for the students and that is very important.
