On April 23rd, the Malawi Team 2013 left Toronto via Ethiopian Airline enroute to Addis then to Lilongwe, a stopover in Dedza for the night and then finally arrival at Annie’s Lodge in Zomba where they will stay for the 3 weeks. Check back often for trip updates….

Malawi here we come… The people in Zomba are looking forward to the team arriving next week. The construction on the school is progressing well as you can see from the photo. They are almost finished and await our team’s excellent work. The team are excited too and final preparations are now under way. Thank you for your support in financial donations and supplies. Every little bit helps and is very much needed in a community that has so little. Departure from Toronto is Tuesday, April 23rd. We hope you will be able to follow along their activities for the next 3 weeks. Happy reading.

The time is fast approaching! Preparatory steps have begun, both here in Canada and across the Atlantic Ocean in Zomba, Malawi, Africa. While we pack up our waterbottles, shorts and malaria pills the locals have been preparing the job site, eagerly awaiting our teams arrival. April 23rd is literally one month away.
