Bricks, Bricks, Bricks
There has been nothing more symbolic to me about our contribution here on the construction site of the Bakong Technical College than bricks.
About a week ago a truck tried to deliver a substantial load of bricks to the construction site for the walls of the new administration and library buildings. But the delivery road was impassable, so they left the bricks about 50 yards away from the intended drop spot. And they needed to be carried to the job site, ready for laying.
Rotarians on Group 1 have spent the last several days moving these enormous piles of bricks and restacking them in places where the local workforce can easily access them. The job was completed by hand, as there were no carts or wheelbarrows to help us along.
It was a long, hot job, but needed to be done to keep the project moving.

Hi Mom, looks like you are working hard. It is good to see you also with your hat on. We all miss you very much. Mack is still hanging on. See you soon
Love Kim
