Monday, November 26th – back to the work site

We left as usual at seven and arrived to find that the local team had done the cement floor at the patio – classrooms entrance and started the final colour. Really red – Canadian flag red! Thank you Ronnie! We will be ready for the big opening party Thursday!

The painting went well then we broke at noon.  One coat is on 90% of the facade and second coat is always easier.  Some of us are repainting the entrance gate and pillars.

After lunch we went to the orphanage CIO – Cambodian Improvement Organization where a team of four had painted the dining room.  We then distributed 11 bikes to senior students as the secondary school is not an easy walk.  They were so grateful and we got lots of hugs.
