Hello to everyone in Canada!

We arrived safe and sound.  Only half of our group is here at present, however, we will all be together on Saturday night.

Looking forward to their arrival.  We are staying at a familiar place, The Leopard Hotel in Moshi.  Moshi appears to have

more vehicles now and they are improving their surroundings for tourism.  Moshi is a main stop on the way to Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Our group met with the Rotary Club of Moshi yesterday.   Great meeting and it looks like they have discovered a new way to

do a ‘happy pot’ for collections – they use a small African pot and a stick to pass around.  They collected 61,000 schillings which

is around $39.00    Today, we women went to the Msaranga Clinic.  We went through over 30 boxes of supplies and equipment

that was sent over from Canada last month. We are looking for the adapters/transformers for the equipment!!  Madeleine and Sharron helped Maria and I.  Hope you enjoy a few photos.
